Shalom brothers and sisters from all around the world.
Today’s message brings a critical reminder about one of the greatest deceptions spreading through modern culture — the rise of occult practices, spiritual compromise, and the normalization of darkness within society and even within parts of the church.

The Bible warns us clearly:

“All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness.” — 2 Timothy 3:16

God’s Word is not only the foundation of truth — it is also the instrument He uses to expose error and reveal what is hidden in darkness. As followers of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus), we are called to stand firm in the truth, to test all things, and to abstain from every form of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:21-22).

Why Exposing the Occult Matters

Scripture warns that when people “depart from the faith,” they open themselves to “deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons” (1 Timothy 4:1).
Many are led astray not out of rebellion, but ignorance — unaware that participation in seemingly innocent practices can invite spiritual harm.

From séances to astrology, tarot cards, dream interpretation, and even Halloween celebrations, the enemy disguises death and deception as entertainment. Yet the Word of God calls these things what they truly are: an abomination before the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12).

Halloween, rooted in pagan rituals and the Celtic festival of Samhain, glorifies death and the demonic.
Even leaders within the Church of Satan have called it their most sacred night — “a chance to dance with the devil.”
How, then, can followers of Christ justify celebrating what glorifies darkness and death when we are called to walk as children of light (Ephesians 5:11-13)?

A Call to Separation and Holiness

The Word of God calls us to be distinct from the world.

“Do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God.” — 3 John 11

When the church blurs the line between light and darkness — hosting “harvest parties” on Halloween or adopting occult-inspired tools like Enneagrams or tarot-based ministry — it opens the door to deception.
God commands us to “come out from among them and be separate” (2 Corinthians 6:17).

We cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons (1 Corinthians 10:21).
Believers are to be holy — not perfect, but set apart for God’s purposes. The world celebrates death, but we celebrate life — eternal life through the resurrection of our Messiah.

The Right Response: Worship and Truth

Instead of imitating the world’s customs, we are called to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth.

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise.” — Psalm 100:4

When others celebrate darkness, let us use that time to gather in prayer, thanksgiving, and worship — declaring that Yeshua has already triumphed over every power of darkness through the cross (Colossians 1:13–14).

Believers must remain vigilant, discerning, and unwavering in the truth of God’s Word. The occult promises power but delivers bondage. The gospel promises surrender but brings freedom.

Let us put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11–18), lift up the shield of faith, and stand against the schemes of the enemy.
The battle belongs to the Lord — and the victory is already won through Jesus Christ.

Final Reflection

If you have ever participated in occult practices — whether knowingly or unknowingly — it is not too late.
There is forgiveness and freedom through repentance and faith in Messiah Yeshua.

“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.” — Colossians 1:13

Turn from the counterfeit light of the world and walk in the true light of the King.
The time to choose is now: the world or the Kingdom.
