Balak - בָּלָק - “Balak”

In this week’s Parasha the next generation of the Children of Yisra’el (Israel) had camped in the plains of Moab on the eastern
side of the Jordan River across from Jericho. Their parents, and all those twenty years old and older, had died in the wilderness, just as God had spoken forty years earlier, due to their lack of faith in Him.
