Va’etchanan - “And I pleaded”

In this week’s Parasha Moshe (Moses) spoke to the next generation of the Children of Yisra’el (Israel) while they were encamped in the valley opposite Beth Peor. He explained to them that even though he had pleaded with the LORD to allow him to cross over the Jordan River to see the Promised Land, God would not allow it.
